This wheel-thrown stoneware mug features the shape of Alabama on its exterior — created using a wax resist technique that keeps the raw clay exposed in the shape of the state while white glaze covers the rest. The result is a clean, two-tone design where the natural clay and glaze do the work. No stamps, no decals — just the pottery itself.

Each mug holds 14–16 oz and is hand-finished in our farm studio in Ethelsville, Alabama — right in the heart of the state on the mug.
